You guys are awesome! This baby boy now has ample clothes for his first year. What Chele and Craig could really use are physical gift cards for stores in their area: Wal-Mart, K-Mart and Kroger.

Well kids, I guess you all lose. I don’t think anyone guessed March 7th or 8th. I wonder which side of the time change he’ll pop out on. LOL

My water broke. It’s a good 30 minutes to the hospital so we are going to drive to that side of town, putz around and see what happens.

I guess hubby will post an update tonight or tomorrow.

The church they attend is also willing to vouch for them and accept donations on their behalf as well, so write to Michele or me for that contact information. Most of all, keep the prayers coming! Please pray for Craig to have wisdom and guidance in finding a job and interviewing.

  17. How wonderful – a little brother for all your girls! Congratulations and blessings!

  18. You guys, um gals, are too much!

The boy is 1/2 made. Can I have the maid now???

No drugs for me! I do the stop, drop, count and go home. ;) Hope this one is as easy as the last-not too early, not too late.

I bet he is going to be extremely rotten! The girls are already fighting over who will NOT change diapers.

I think the funniest boy thing I’ve seen so far is the “pee pee tee pee for sprinkling wee wee”! http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?itemId=13271 I have two little brothers and it wasn’t that bad (except for the time I took my little brother to his potty chair and I sat on the toilet waiting for him. My mother did not tell me he had to tuck “it” down so I got a face full!). LOL

You have no idea how much you have brightened my day.

    Love you all,
    Michele

  19. Congratulations to you, your DH and your DD’s. I am sooo happy for you all :)

  20. Oh my lord, Congratulations to all of you. It’s a Boy, a whole new experience for you.. Very Happy for you.

  21. Well, shut mah mouth! I knew you’d finally get it right if you kept trying, BSeed! (I’m wondering now if you’ll be wanting five more boys to balance out the set though!)

    Congrats!
    Have fun!

    Shoe

  22. It’s a boy and I am happy for you. What a spoiled little darling he will be. I am doing the happy dance for you.

  23. Oh my…BIG CONGRATS to you all !!! The “little man of the house” will surely be spoiled rotten…and likely rule the roost. :-) ))

  24. Congratulations!
A little boy…I guess 7 is truly a lucky number.
All the best and keep and eye out for a small package.
    Take care, Roxanne

    Big bear hug,

    Ursula

  28. Hello All!

I want to share some exciting news! Yesterday, two packages arrived!

Ruth thank you so much for the cloth diapers! They are a must have baby staple. Since we were “done”, all of our old ones had become favorite cleaning cloths.

Bev, those little running pants are so cute! The have a tiny pocket on the back and my 15 year old said they are for his little wallet. Oh my! Thank you!

I had no idea how this would work and it’s so neat to see things start to pile up on his changing table. :)

    Love you all,
    Michele

  29. Oh boy! The UPS man just stopped by!

Today we received a bouncy seat from Maggie! Thank you!

We also received a bottle rack from Uncle Howie! Thank you!

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. You guys are the best!

  30. You can do both. I know I am! :)

  31. OMG! Finally a boy! :) Congrats Chele and family!!!

    Big Hugs!

    Jody

  32. Yippee! Sherry, the mail lady was here a bit ago! Three more prezzies for baby Meyer! I guess we should name him soon…

Big thanks to Delecie for the sock set and Little Brother (never thought I’d need that!) t-shirt!

Bonnie, thank you so much for the Construction layette. First time one of mine ever needed clothes with trucks. :)

Thank you Nery for the Daddy’s Little Boy shirt and bath towels! I hope they save me from extra sprinkles!

    This is so very nice!

  33. Congratulations, Michelle & family :) What a pleasant surprise! A loving, lucky family you all have ;)

  34. Oh boy oh boy! More presents today!

I have to tell you guys, the girls are enjoying this as much as me, maybe more!

Today I have big thank you’s for several people!

DonnaB, thank you for the box full of little boy outfits! They will be perfect for summer.

Rox, thank you for all the little doggie gifts. I have to laugh at the tiny bones on the outfits and blankets.

Cathy, thanks so much for the construction outfits. My four year old really loves the little trucks.

Vic, thanks a bunch for the little doggie receiving blanket! It is so cute!

Carole, thank you so much for the diaper bag. I’m positive that is going to get a lot of use.

I cannot tell you how nice it is to find presents in the mail every day. We’ve really be stressed and it’s the best part of our day.

  35. This has got to be the best shower I’ve ever attended!
We get to give presents to a great gal who really appreciates them and we DON’T have to play the silly shower games. lol

I’m so happy that these gifts are making your days enjoyable. :-)

    Donna

  36. Oh gee, I was about to go looking for poopy diaper games online. hahahaha

I really didn’t expect anything and was so surprised when I was asked to make a registry. I can’t even say how much it means to us to see this outpouring of love and support.

  37. I’m so glad it’s Monday-even if it’s cold, ugly and wet!

The mail lady brought more presents today!

Bev, my 11 year old absolutely loved the bad to the bone shirts and she will be ecstatic to see them when she gets home from school. Selfishly, I like the wild about mommy onsie. :)

Dorothy, thank you so much for the portable changing pad! I know that will be well used since we rarely sit still. I told Maddie she gets to use that when she changes poopy diapers. She yelled “yuck” and ran out of the room. LOL

Bonnie, thank you so much for thinking of “almost everything”! The mixed box of goodies covers about all my bases, um, er, all ends of the baby.

Wanda, thank you so much for the hand crocheted baby blanket. It’s such a lovely shade of blue!

This is the best shower ever! Well, I’ve only had one, almost 16 years ago and most of that stuff was pink. ;) I’m thrilled you guys thought of this. It’s so fun to get a little at a time. :) I will remain forever indebted to all of you.

  38. Hello All!

I should have posted yesterday but had a very lazy day. I sat in my bed and made hair goods then just played couch potato.

Yesterday a boatload of goodies showed up-first the mail lady, then the UPS guy.

Maggie, thank you for the changing pad cover. Now I won’t have to freeze his little buns off during diaper changes!

DonnaB, you outdid yourself. The second box of clothes was absolutely packed! I took the rest of the itty bitty clothes off my wish list. His little closet is well stocked for the first 6 months. Thank you!

Thank you Grandma Jo, the monkey outfit with the visor is too cute! It arrived with the terry sleepers and they are so soft and fuzzy!

SoCal, thanks so much for the going bananas outfit and wipes warmer! He’ll be glad when I don’t stick ice cold wipes on his little tushy at 2am. ;)

Terry, thanks so much for the bottle set! We had absolutely none and I’m sure someone here is going to want to feed him or I might need a break.

This is absolutely the best shower ever! You all can’t imagine what a blessing you are to us.

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
    Michele and family.

  39. I’m getting a little lonely here. Where is everybody?

    More presents came today.

Thank you Gourd for the onsies and the hi tops! Those hi tops are so cute! The girls had a fit over them.

Terry, thanks so much for the breast pads. It’s not much fun to be a spewing fountain in public. :)

Claire, the cute little coveralls and sleepers showed up today. They are great! Thank you!

  40. Michele,
I think we are all still in turkey overload from yesterday. lol
I am so happy that you are receiving such nice thoughtful gifts from all your cyber friends. I know it was a pleasure for me to be able to send the little guy something and to make your days a little brighter. :-)
I hope you and the family had a nice Thanksgiving.
    Donna

  41. Oh my. I just typed a long reply but didn’t fill in the name and email and it was eaten. Grrrr! It went something like this:

Surely everyone has jiggled down their turkey by now? We did have a good Thanksgiving! We didn’t put up the tree and lights like we normally do but were able to enjoy a traditional meal together. Maddie was so cute and said our prayer for us before we ate.

We were supposed to go to my sister’s today but she had to cancel due to illness. Hopefully we can do it in a week or two as we only get together about once a year. I told her about my wonderful DG friends and the cyber shower and she was amazed and impressed!

Terry, thank you so much for the milk storage bags! They are deeply appreciated.

I also received a card with money yesterday. Stephanie probably does not know about this shower (other than me telling her how blessed we’ve been by DG friends) and I think I’ll invite her so you all can meet her. She’s such a sweet lady.

Good news-my baby swing still works! It just needs to be cleaned up some. It also has not been recalled or reported for any problems. The same with my pack and play. We also found some of the parts for my breast pump, so with any luck we will find the rest of it!

This is all starting to feel so real. :)

I can’t thank you all enough.

  42. I thought those hi tops were cute! Didn’t know if you knew who they were from.. I’ve not used my name in so long. I’m glad they were a hit.!!

  43. OMG! No, I didn’t know who they were from! I’m so sorry! I thought they were from Antoine (Toni) in Cleveland! Geesh. I should have paid closer attention to the name ending.

They are super cute! They look like little baby converse hi-tops. I think everyone of the girls picked them up and laughed.

99% of the presents came with a gift receipt saying who they were from. I did have to do a bit of research to put a couple of real names with DG names so I can send out Thank You cards.

I know I’ve said it many times, but you all are really the best!

  44. So glad we all could make you happy and take some of the burdens off you. You have yet one more package coming from me ;-)

  45. You all have no idea how much you have helped us and how much joy you have brought to us. Needless to say, this baby is a surprise baby. At least I won’t have to worry about him wearing pink or running around naked. LOL I just keep hoping and praying hubby will find a job before the little guy gets here.

    You all are amazing!

  46. Dear Chele, I am praying hard for your DH not only to find a good job very soon, but also one he enjoys.

As a gardener you should know that you harvest what you sow. You are a much loved DG member!

    Love, prayers and hugs,

    Ursula

  47. Thank you Ursula. :) I do know I have the best friends in all of the world!

Today, my baby got his first toy! Thank you Marcy for the musical worm! It’s much bigger than I thought. Maddie yelled “Awe!” when I opened the box. :)

  48. I’m back with another thank you!

Donna, I received the third box from you late yesterday! Thanks a bunch for the cloth diapers!

I don’t have a chest for the baby so we’ve been buying plastic boxes with lids. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to see all those little bins stacked up, filled with clothes!

All of the boxed items are neatly stacked on the changing table my neighbor gave me and it’s actually full. One shelf has several blankets stacked on it as well.

With life being so uncertain and crazy, it feels so good to see how much this little guy is loved already, not just by us but those around us. It is such a blessing to know he is provided for and knowing that bringing him home will be stress free!

I think we have settled on Nolan for a first name. My maiden name was Noland and it’s something we’ve discussed several times but never needed a name for a boy. :) I think it would make my husband happy if his middle name turns out to be James (after hubby’s father) but we’ve not gotten that far yet.

“Thank you” still seems to be far too little. I really appreciate you all.

  49. Today I received another package-8 onsies, the construction blanket and the “if daddy says no” shirt (that my kids think is too funny!). Thank you Mystic!

  50. Nolan James is a beautiful name
