Test post from PostBot in Android

This is just a quick test post using the PostBot app for Android. I like how it displays my blog’s categories. I also like how I can save drafts!

Another good thing is, you can upload multiple photos per entry. I will send a couple of pictures with this entry and see how this formats everything within the template.

The one picture shows Howie peeling the ice-covered sheets from his mom’s car. It worked well — no scraping necessary! Still, a plastic tarp would probably work better, plus you won’t risk tearing your sheets.

Picture two is of some dominoes while we played the Chicken Foot game at Caribou one night.

Update: I get a Force Close (process.org.group18 or something like that). It happens in the PostBot uploader as my first picture is uploading. My draft is still available to reopen. I will try only sending one picture.

No go. Still get the Force Close. Let’s try plain text, sans pictures.

This now ends the test post.

  1. Hey there,

    Thanks for trying out PostBot!

Are you using version 1.0.0 or 1.0.2? I made some changes to the way images are handled in 1.0.2, and now I can regularly upload 10 pictures taken with the phone’s camera in a single post, and can upload 7.1 megapixel images taken with my other camera.

If you’re using 1.0.2 and still see these problems, I’m very interested in finding out more, as I seem unable to reproduce the issue!

You can send me an email or post a comment at nickthecook.wordpress.com for assistance.
