Genovese basil harvest
I cut back all the Genovese basil moments ago and am removing the leaves in preparation of making pesto. There’s roasted garlic and toasted walnuts awaiting these gorgeous and fragrant leaves. My phone will probably smell like basil. I’ll put a link to the recipe here later today.

Stella can really pack away the food, and fast! Her new record? Thirty seconds flat. She dined alfresco last night, but nothing slowed her down. If there was a Guinness World Record category for “fasted ingestion of food by a puppy”, she’d hold the record.
