Genovese basil harvest
I cut back all the Genovese basil moments ago and am removing the leaves in preparation of making pesto. There’s roasted garlic and toasted walnuts awaiting these gorgeous and fragrant leaves. My phone will probably smell like basil. I’ll put a link to the recipe here later today.
Update on the DIY earth box type garden
Everything in my self-watering containers is doing great! Check out the nice harvest from Thursday. The Brandywine tomatoes are averaging about 11oz each and none are splitting.
