This post is especially for Tami, in consideration of her love for interesting mailboxes. I didn’t take it – Jennifer Esperanza did.
She calls it mailbox mudra. This quirky mailbox is in Santa Fe, NM and you can see another view of the it in Kblood’s photo at Flickr.
I had to look up the word mudra; it refers to the hand positions of Japanese Buddhist statuary. What a great title for this shot, eh? I love interesting roadside stuff like this.
