Gardenwife’s Plot

A plot can be a garden, a grave or a story.

Green Thumb Sunday

Here’s my contribution for the week, this time a sedum sporting lovely pink blooms. If anyone knows which sedum this is, I’d love to know. I got it from a friend. This shot was taken a couple months back, June 18, to be exact.

  1. I’ve got this sedum, too, and I believe it to be Sedum spurium or Two-Row Sedum.

Pretty, peeking out from between the rocks!

  2. It’s pretty pink flower. Looks like growing on the rocks.

  3. This is the perfect use for sedum in my opinion, peeking out from stacked stones. Nice photo.

  4. Nice picture of sedum. If you want to know what kind it is contact Aiyana at waterwhendry.blogspot.com. I bet she knows.

  5. That’s a very lovely plant.

  6. We kept buying sedum as ground cover and it kept not growing.

  7. Thanks, everyone!

Dr. John, did you have it in dry soil? It does best in at least part sun and dry soil. If it is in too moist an area, it can get mushy and not do well. Ours kind of thrives on neglect. LOL!
