Gardenwife’s Plot

A plot can be a garden, a grave or a story.

Kristin Chenoweth

Like with so many people and stories, I found out about Kristin Chenoweth while browsing a MySpace profile. Someone there linked to a YouTube video of her. Of course I had to find out more. I can’t even begin to describe her other than to say she is pure sunshine to behold and has voice as clear as bells. She also has a wonderful delivery. No wonder she’s a Tony Award winner.

I can see why people rave about Kristin. Are you as hooked now as I am? Thought so. Good news - she has recordings available. Click the album covers below to listen to audio clips.

  1. A few years ago on TV, they had two ladies singing a song from Wicked in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I’m sure one of them was her.

  2. She was a guest host on The View today.

  3. Thanks for posting all that great information about a very talented lady. I was thrilled to see that she performed in competition at Opryland, which was just a “stones throw” from where I live. (It is no longer there, however, as it was replaced by a shopping mall. BUMMER!) Now that I am familiar with her and her marvelous talents, I will be on the lookout for more great performances from her.

  4. Hi, there, Ellen! Good to see you, friend. We had a treat this weekend when we listened to A Prairie Home Companion. It was an encore show (aka rerun) and featured Kristin singing several songs, including this one and “The Girl from 14G”. She’s a gem.
