Rescue Me

Sometimes peoples’ serious postings are unintentionally amusing (remember that guy’s personal ad?). This post from the Columbus Craig’s List site is a good example. Posts expire in 45 days, so I’ve copied it into this blog entry for posterity. I can just picture this disgruntled guy sitting down at his computer, pug puppy in lap, and typing out this rant. I’ve not corrected his typing.

The eagle has landed

birdBaldEagleBlueSky.jpgIt’s good news for fans of Haliaeetus leucocephalus in Ohio. Bald eagles that is. All-American big birds, rapturous raptors. Gotta love ‘em.

The rest of the time, I can just meander around and enjoy the view. Oh, but last week’s commute to and from Baltimore from Frederick….that had my neck muscles in a knot.

Bragging rights

I just caught a new IKEA commercial on TV. We don’t have IKEA stores in Ohio, so this is the first ad I’ve seen. What a riot! You know it’s good if I immediately break my blogging silence to write a snippet about it, right?
