I feel like some big corporate executive with our three offices. Well, hardly executive, though I am a domestic engineer. Our offices all have interesting views, though, and I can use any of them at my whim.
I’m peeking back in here after a long absence (long for me, anyway, at least it feels that way). We’ve had lots of interesting stuff going on and I’ve been working outside in the yard a lot. I’ll update bits and pieces over the next few days. One the weight loss front, I maintained this week and Howie lost 3 pounds. More later!
Well, it’s done. Elliott is in his final resting place, nestled back in the corner of our yard at the foot of the forsythia bushes and a dappled willow. We buried him in his favorite headquarters, his round cat bed. I surrounded him with flowers from the yard; he looked so peaceful and sweet curled up in there.
The last few years I barely earned my moniker “Gardenwife”. I think “Computerwife” or “ComputerSlug” would have been more fitting. That’s changing, though, along with me.
